OK - now I know who to go to for math help! For the past 2 years I have tutored 4 kids: 3 during 5th and 6th grade and 1 of their brothers in 4th grade. It seems like I was more of a math tutor than anything because that is what they needed help with more than anything else. Now they are headed to junior high and I am just hoping my math skills can keep up! Good to have another source to go to in addition to my colleagues at my school!
You are awesome. I am forwarding the URL to this blog to my daughter who teaches math to 7th and 9th graders in Jordan School District. Your tutorials are fun and easy to follow. The use of the small whiteboard was very effective. The other characteristic about this blog that I so appreciate is your understated sense of humor. And your fashion sense!
That is really cool how you use youtube videos to teach your math concepts on your blog. I can see that there are some areas that I might use youtube to teach concepts as well. Great Blog
